As far as I know nothing has been seen since the '20s, but there
was a well-publicised UFO flap in the Banbury/Burton hills
area circa 1970-71. One of the sightings, reported in Flying
Saucer Review at the time, involved 'balls of light' seen in a
nearby hamlet whose descriptions resembled those from the
'20s.

The newscutting you refer to is one of a number from the
era 1923-24 containing references to sightings in and
around the hills dating back to the early 19th century.

With regards to my original booklet, Spooklights, this is
out of print but I have the text available in Word, with a
new introduction. If anyone would like this as an
attachment please contact me off-list.
