Where can I find Brett's study? Dr. Arangra at Sul Ross doesn't reply to my e-mail nor my (very expensive) calls. I'll just have to drop in on him. I too am into Telluric currents and VLF. However I can't figure out how they can produce sufficient energy for luminosity without some weird 3 wave interaction. Even then it isn't too likely. We are talking millivolts and nanoteslas. It is difficult for me to produce an air plasma with a 6000 volt neon sign transformer using an 1/8 inch air gap. There has been a lot of work done on solitons in plasmas, but I think only Ohtsuki has done anything on producing plasmas with solitons or more precisely in his case--fractal reflections.
