Subject: The Spooklight Page: Gone?

Hi everyone,

I noticed, much to my dismay, that "The Spooklight Page", seems to have
vanished from its usual location:-

   http://www.busprod.com/michael/spooklight/

This site has been going since '97, and was one of only a semi-handful of
sites devoted to this kind of ALP research when I first started researching
the phenomenon, so it would be indeed sad if it is gone.

After doing some investigations, I found that the site "busprod.com" has
been taken over by a new American communications organization, "Access US -
accessus.net". From their Website, I managed to gather the following
information:-

[[[
What about my personal web site?

Your personal web site will remain in tact, as is, for the time being.
Sometime during the transition period, we will move your personal web site
to the Access US domain name. You will be notified well advance of these
upcoming changes including instructions on how to upload and make changes
to your personal web site once it has moved over to Access US.

So there does appear to be some hope that the site will be re-published to
the Web. However, "The Spooklight Page" has not been updated since 1997,
and the author seems to be uncontactable, and hence the site has probably
been forgotten. If Access US require that the authors of the pages
republish their materials, then it seems unlikely that "The Spooklight
Page" will come back online.

However, the site does also mention that all "busprod.com" email addresses
will be preserved, and hopefully they do have an archive copy of the
busprod.com server. I rate the chances of the site getting back up at about
50%. I have contacted Access US requesting more information about the
transitions, but as yet have not recieved a reply.

Cheers,
