In order to use X forwarding, over ssh, don't forget to offer the remote host access via the "xhost" command. I'm not really sure if this is the best way to do it yet, but it's *a* way to do it.
One thing to never do without caution is run "xhost +". This basically gives anyone who can ping your machine the ability to change it. I learned this the hard way one time when someone told me to run it, then ran "x2x" and moved their cursor into my screen, and stole a window from off of it.
