As a method of communication and record, *Lo and Behold!* welcomes external
submissions for inclusion in its online and printed versions. Works submitted
for inclusion shall:

* **Adhere to the subjects covered by the periodical.** Though the scope is
  quite large and pushing the envelope is encouraged, please review the current
  contents before submitting.
* **Use a wide vocabulary whilst being clear.** This is one of the biggest
  stylistic guidelines to which all *Lo and Behold!* pieces should adhere: use
  interesting, bizarre words whenever possible, but make sure that your prose
  is fairly informal.
* **Be between 200 and 1500 words.** As a rough guideline. Pieces outside of
  this guideline will probably still be considered.
* **Not use proprietary formats.** Acceptable formats include plain text, HTML,
  and copyable PDF. Unacceptable formats include Word, uncopyable PDF, and JPG.
