(hessladen or .... ) "Although we are fortunate enough in the U.K. not to have severe earthquakes, we are glad that by researching ALP we may be able to help other countries in need. It is nice that someone is taking a humanitarian approach to this area of research, and we hope that this project saves many lives. We feel that there can't be long to go until the ALP mystery is solved, and so we shall continue to strive for a theory especially as it could have such beneficial results for the human race.Sean B. Palmer , Mybstrylights.com Sussex, England." http://www.mysterylights.com/ sean@... anomalous luminous phenomena A.L.P ...........The phenomena which is in the earthquake lights category had been the most scientifically descripted with TST ( TECTONIC STRAIN THEORY ) (ref:3) theory by M. Persinger. The ALP term in our project is quoted from these paper. Our ALP definition is not the flames occurred during or just after the quake or discharge of static electric or the lights emerged from the gas which come from the crust. We have a few reasons for using the term "ALP". First is resulted from the fact that this phenomena could not been defined, and the other is that the earthquake lights emerge in various formations. In the other hand, ALPs vary in every different geographical regions. The lights that we are researching are seen just before the quake in the regions located on the active fault lines or in the regions which active plates forms in stress...........
